Months go by, and while the Penedès region is in full harvest, work is progressing on our new warehouse located in Sant Quinti de Mediona.
Since our last publication, we have made significant progress. Numerous adaptation works have been carried out to meet our needs in six large 60,000-liter tanks that will soon store different varieties of alcohols and will be able to serve our customers in large quantities.
It is meticulous work, as we are implementing all the elements of the latest technologies that will guarantee maximum productivity and the best service, always respecting the tradition and history of this incredible centenary factory.
Next to these large tanks, we have an old warehouse where, originally, wheat paste was made in the last century. Years later, it was adapted, and ten tanks were incorporated inside for the storage of wines and musts. Now at Azul y Rojo Import-Export S.L., we are repairing and readapting this warehouse to enable a space where we can guarantee the best service to customers who need smaller quantities of our products and will be our filling and loading point for IBC tanks of a thousand liters.
These works are the most laborious, as the passage of time has particularly affected the roofs and walls that are in need of much care and repairs for proper commissioning.
The works are progressing, the shine of this “diamond in the rough” is increasingly emerging… we are looking forward to seeing it shine!
